What is the Connection?
The Colorado Medical Society Connection is a volunteer
organization of physicians, medical students, resident physicians
and their spouses
working with the Colorado Medical Society to
actively participate in building a healthy
Colorado

Why do we need the Connection?
The Connection (formerly the Alliance) has long been active in community service in
Colorado.

Whether it’s waging campaigns against childhood obesity or assembling disaster preparedness tool kits, the Connection has championed many issues important to all Coloradoans.

In 2011, the CMSC is working on expanding its network by
providing leadership in the areas of health care policy, legislative
advocacy and economic viability of physician practices.

During a recent statewide tour of county-based groups from
Grand Junction to Alamosa, our leaders heard that people are hungry for a united effort to address health care issues. We work
to ensure that physicians are able to have a viable practice and easy access to accurate information on health care policy.

How does the Connection make a difference?
The CMSC is constantly joining with partners across the state to build an extensive health care network that promotes reform and issues important to our communities.

Through this web site, an aggressive social media campaign,
ever-expanding email database and direct mail program, we are reaching out to physicians, residents, medical students and their spouses.

Our goal is to build the best health care network in the country,
and we are off to a great start.
