Annual Meeting – September 10-12^th at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa.     

Important Dates and Information:

Lodging information:

·         It is time to make reservations.  The hotel is asking for reservations to be confirmed by August 8. 

·         Least expensive room at Vail Cascade with CMS group rate:   $149/night + resort fee ($10) and taxes (15.8%).  A bit larger rooms with a creek side view are going fast and are about $20 more per night.

·         One night deposit will be billed to your credit card on Sept. 2^nd for your stay.  If you need to cancel for any reason, do it before this date.  Travel insurance will also be offered.  Fee is about $50, but requires qualifying events to receive compensation for your deposit.  As you’re the hotel for further information on this if interested.

AMA Alliance Leadership Conference in Chicago ...

Dear Medical Family Colleague:

I am proud to announce the first ever Medical Families Summit, September 25-28, 2010 and I am extending a personal invitation to you and your family to join me and my husband for two days of fun and education for the medical family followed by two days of leadership training just for you.  Realizing Monday and Tuesday are school days, we have planned family activity and events for the weekend and the majority of the leadership training will take place on Monday and Tuesday so that you can take advantage of programs that will enrich you both personally and professionally. 
 
You can see from the attached program that activities are planned for the entire family and that leadership programming is superb.
